FILTERING VERSION INSTALLATION
Arrange the electrical feeding (for the electrical connection, follow all the other indications on the “Warning sheet”.
1. Draw a line on the wall, on the vertical of your cooking hob. Draw on the wall the 6 holes you will make, according to
the measures indicated in the Fig. 6; make the holes and insert the dowels (Issued).
As already specified in the “Warning” sheet , consider that the distance between the hood lower border and the cooking
hob must be min 650 mm.
2. Fit the rectangular plate on the internal part, using 4 screws as shown in Fig. 14.
3. Fit the cable duct (B) in the round slot and run the power cable through it (Fig. 14).
4. Fit the air baffle above the rectangular plate using 4 screws (Fig. 15).
3. Make the electrical connection.
4. Take the external part of the hood (cylindrical body) and slide it in from the front until it touches the wall, then
push it upwards until it touches the ceiling (Fig. 8); secure it with 6 screws (use the 6 screws removed previously).
5. Fitting the control box. The controls differ depending on the model you have purchased.
To fit the controls shown in Fig.16 or Fig.17: fit the control box inside the cylindrical casing sliding it in sideways (Fig.
9). Lock it by tightening the 2 screws A.
To fit the controls shown in Fig. 18: secure the control box on the lower inside of the hood, fastening it with 2 screws (Fig.10).
6. Connect the 2 halogen spotlights (Fig. 11).
7. Fit the sensor box (present only with certain models) in its seat, exercising slight pressure (Fig. 12).
8. Remember that for the filtering version the charcoal filter is necessary, therefore, if it is not yet installed, proceed
with installation by resting the filter on the lower edge and then turning it towards the inside of the hood (Fig. 13).
9. Refit the grease filter.
OPERATION
Depending on the model, the unit is equipped with the following controls:
Controls shown in Fig.16:
A) Turns the LIGHTS off
B) Turns the LIGHTS on.
C) Decreases speed down to minimum speed. If pressed for 2" the motor is turned off.
D) Activates the motor (calling the last speed used) and increases the speed until reaching maximum.
E) FILTER ALARM/TIMER RESET: when pressing the key during display of the filter alarm (motor off) it resets the hour
counter. When pressing the key when the motor is running, the TIMER is activated and the hood will automatically be switched
off after 5 minutes.
L1) The 4 green LEDs indicate the running speed.
L2) When the LED is red (motor off) it indicates the FILTER ALARM. When the LED is green (flashing) it indicates that
the TIMER has been activated with the key E.
FILTER ALARM:
After 30h of operation, the LED L2 turns RED. It indicates that the grease filters need to be cleaned.
After 120h of operation, the LED L2 turns RED and flashes; It indicates that the grease filters need to be cleaned and
the charcoal filters replaced.
After cleaning the grease filters (and/or replacing the charcoal filters), restart the hour counter (RESET) by pressing the
key E during display of the filter alarm.
Controls shown in Fig.17:
This appliance is equipped with a completely automatic system (Advanced Sensor Control) capable to manage all
the functions of your hood. Thanks to the ASC, the air in the kitchen is costantly clean and odour free without
any manual intervention. The advanced sensor catches all sort of vapours, smokes and odours caused by the
cooking process. The ASC also captures an abnormal presence of GAS. Moreover, this hood was born of the
Home Comfort project aimed at maximum noise reduction. It also has an Air Refresh function, which in perfect
silence exchanges the air in the room by activating the hood every 50 minutes.
A) Turns the lights off.
B) Turns the lights on.
C) Reduces the motor speed until reaching minimum. If pressed for 2", the motor is switched off.
If pressed for 2" when the Filter Alarm is active, the HOUR counter is reset.
D) Starts the motor and increases the speed until reaching maximum
E) Activates/deactivates the sensor (AUTOMATIC or MANUAL mode). In automatic mode the sensor is active and the
LED L2 is on. The LEDs L1 indicate the running speed.
L1) The 4 GREEN LEDs signal the running speed.
L2) When the LED is GREEN it indicates AUTOMATIC mode. When it is off, it indicates MANUAL mode. When the LED
is RED, it indicates the Filter Alarm.
FILTER ALARM: Displayed for 30" when the motor is off:
After 30h of operation, the LED L2 turns RED. It indicates that the grease filters need to be cleaned.
After 120h of operation, the LED L2 turns RED and flashes; It indicates that the grease filters need to be cleaned and
the charcoal filters replaced.
